Pollution – Short Essay 1.
Pollution is a vice that is affecting the world that we are living in. The forms of pollution include soil pollution, water pollution, air pollution and noise pollution.
Pollution is mainly caused by vehicles and industrial waste. Industries release chemicals to water bodies and release harmful gases to the atmosphere.
Pollution is caused by poor farming methods. This is where farmers use harmful chemicals to farm and they later find their way into water bodies and in the air.
Another cause of pollution is sea spills. Ships leak oil in the oceans which affects marine life.
Wildfires also cause pollution. When a lot of trees burn in or forests, the gases released cause environmental harm.
Poor disposal of waste is also another major cause of corruption. This waste causes pollution to the water bodies and in the soil.
Pollution is a major factor that has caused global warming. There are many causes of pollution and we should ensure that we protect the environment from being affected by these pollutants.

Pollution – Short Essay 2.
Pollution refers to the contamination or presence of harmful materials in the environment. Pollution is a big problem. It causes harm to plants, animals, and human beings. Besides living beings, it affects the environment itself.
When impurity level of air gets to such an extent that it becomes a threat for living beings, it is called air pollution. The greenhouse gases pollutes the air.
The water in natural water bodies degrades when comes in contact with pollutants. The dirty and impure wastes are poured into the lakes, river systems, oceans, etc. These materials gets mixed with water and makes it unsafe for human use. This is water pollution.
Soil pollution is characterized by presence of materials that decreases the quality of the soil. The contaminated ground-water (caused by water pollutants) may negatively affect the quality of soil. The ground water contamination and excessive use of pesticides has causes soil pollution.
The presence of heavy machines, trucks, vehicles, etc. produces severe sounds during the course of their operation. The noises sometimes reach beyond toleration level of human-beings and animals. Presence of such noises in the environment is called noise pollution.
Due to oil spillage, very often ocean water gets polluted. This is called oil pollution.
The discharge of warm water back to the fresh water systems without prior cooling may result into thermal shock. This is called Thermal pollution. The water habitats such as fishes are accustomed to live in an ambient temperature. Any changes in water temperature may prove to be detrimental.
The various sources of pollution includes industrial emissions, vehicular emissions, domestic discharges, surface transport noises, release of harmful chemicals and minerals because of natural factors.
